Syntel Ltd.

Our office is tucked away in Parnasree, Kolkata, specifically at 52 Parnasree in the 3B Ambika building. It is a typical Kolkata neighborhood, with narrow streets and lots of life happening all around us at every hour. Working for Syntel Ltd. here means we are part of the local scene, even if the company name sounds like it belongs in a much bigger skyscraper. Most of our day is spent inside 3B Ambika, staring at computers and talking about project deadlines. We do not have a big cafeteria or anything like that, so we usually just head out to the local food stalls for a quick bite or bring something from home to eat at the desk. The commute can be a bit of a struggle depending on the rain or the traffic, but we all make it in somehow. The office itself is just a regular workspace with desks pushed close together and a lot of humming from the air conditioning units. We aren't here to change the world; we are just here to do our jobs and get the tasks finished on time. There is a lot of chatting between the cubicles, and we have all become pretty good friends over the years. Parnasree is a nice enough place to be based, and we have gotten used to the rhythm of the 700060 zip code. It is just a standard office life with its own little daily quirks.
