Sai Birds

We’ve been here at Ap 559 in the 4th Sector for quite a while now. If you walk down 17th Street in KK Nagar, you’ll probably hear us before you see us. The birds get pretty loud in the mornings, especially when the sun starts hitting the front of the shop. It’s a lot of work keeping up with them, cleaning the cages every single day and making sure everyone is fed and watered. We started small, just a few cages and some basic feed, but it grew because people around here kept asking for more variety. There is something nice about the sound of birds chirping while you’re trying to have a cup of tea in the afternoon. Most days it’s just me and a couple of others trying to keep things organized. We stock various types of seed and some toys for the birds to play with. Sometimes people stop by just to look at the colors or ask how to take care of a parrot they just got. We aren't a big flashy store, just a regular spot tucked away in the neighborhood. The heat can get a bit much in the summer, but we keep the fans going. It is a simple life here. We focus on the health of the birds and making sure the cages are sturdy enough. Being in KK Nagar feels right, it's a busy area but our street stays relatively calm. We even get the local kids stopping by after school to see what's new.
