Our place is over in Mylapore at 98-A on Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai. It’s a busy road, especially during peak hours when everyone is trying to get somewhere else. We are located on the seventh floor of the building. It’s an older part of the city, which is nice because there’s a bit of character to the neighborhood. You can find some good food spots nearby if you know where to look. Inside the office, it’s pretty much what you’d expect from a place that deals with nuts and bolts. We have shelves of samples and binders full of technical specs. It gets a bit cluttered sometimes because there’s always something new coming in or going out. Most of the staff have been here for years, so we all know each other’s habits and how we like our coffee. We don’t really do anything fancy here. We just make sure the orders are right and that the fasteners get to where they’re supposed to go. Sometimes the phones ring more than we’d like, but that’s just how the day goes. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit over the years, with new shops opening up and old ones closing down, but our office stays mostly the same. It’s a reliable spot to work from. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks without making too much of a fuss about it. The work is steady and that is enough for us.
