Sun Survey System

We have been running Sun Survey System from our office at 14, Satti Street for a good while now. It is a plain space with enough room for our desks and all the surveying tools we have to carry around. Satti Street can be a bit of a squeeze when cars are parked on both sides, but we like being in this part of town. Most of our days are spent out on various sites, but this is where we come back to sort out the drawings and look over the numbers. The building itself is nothing special, just a regular brick place that stays cool enough in the summer if we keep the fans going. We don’t have any fancy receptionists or a big lobby with magazines. It is just a work environment where we get the job done. Sometimes we stay late when a project is due, and the street gets real quiet then. You can hear the neighbor’s radio sometimes through the walls. We have an old kettle for tea and a lot of maps rolled up in the corners. People who need us usually just walk in or give a shout. We have gotten used to the way the light hits the front door in the afternoon. It is a simple life here at number 14. We are just a small group of people who know how to measure land and we stay busy with that.
