Sudha Super Market

Sudha Super Market is our little shop over here on Thirukundram Main Road. We’re at number 171/1 in Anatakkam. It's a decent-sized space but we pack a lot into it. People from around the neighborhood come in for their daily groceries and whatever else they forgot to buy in town. It can get a bit cramped in the aisles when we get a big shipment of rice or oil, but we manage to get it all sorted eventually. We aren't trying to be like those huge malls you see in the city. It’s just a local market where you can find what you need without a fuss. We spend a lot of time talking to the neighbors while we ring things up. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit if it’s raining hard outside, but that’s just the building showing its age. We’ve been at this spot for a bit and we know most of the faces that walk through the door. It’s a lot of work keeping everything stocked up, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. My cousin helps out when things get busy. We don't have a fancy website or any of that. We just focus on the shelves and the customers standing in front of us. Thirukundram Main Road stays pretty busy so there’s always noise from the street, but you get used to it after a few years. We keep a stool by the door for when our legs get tired during the long afternoon shifts.
