We are based on the ground floor of building 7/26 in the Sunder area. It’s right on 1st Avenue in Ekkaduthangal. Being on the ground floor makes it easy to move equipment in and out without having to deal with stairs or elevators. Ekkaduthangal is a busy spot, especially with all the workshops and offices around. Our space is pretty simple—just some desks, servers, and a lot of cables. We spend most of the day troubleshooting things or setting up new systems for people. It can get a bit cramped when the whole team is in, but we get along well. The light from the front door is about the only natural light we get, so it feels a bit like a workshop. We have a small area in the back where we keep the spare parts and the toolkits. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll see people in suits; we usually just wear whatever is comfortable for crawling under a desk or reaching behind a rack. The noise from the street outside is constant, but you stop noticing it after an hour or so. We mostly just focus on whatever task is right in front of us. It’s a lot of technical work, but we talk to each other in plain English. We’ve been in this Ekkaduthangal neighborhood long enough to know where the best tea is.
