We’re located at 2 Subbaraya Street in Nugambakkam. It’s a busy part of Chennai and finding a parking spot on this street is almost impossible most days. Srv Aquatech Pvt Ltd is where we handle various water-related tech and equipment. The office is on the ground floor and it’s usually packed with filters, pipes, and some testing kits. It’s a bit cramped because we have so much stock piled up, but we make it work. Nugambakkam has a lot of energy and we’re right in the middle of it. We spend a lot of time talking to people about their water issues, which are pretty common around here. I usually have a cup of coffee on my desk that’s gone cold because I got distracted by a phone call or a customer walking in. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. We’re just a small team trying to provide something useful to the community. The building is older, so we have to deal with the typical issues like leaky ceilings when the monsoon hits hard. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just show people what we have and tell them how it works. Sometimes we’re out in the field more than we are in the office. It’s a lot of moving around and checking on installations. At the end of the day, we just lock up the gate and head home through the Chennai traffic. It keeps us on our toes.
