The address for Srividya is New No 4, but it’s also Old No 70 on Adanjan Street in Mandaveli. This double numbering is a very Chennai thing and it can confuse people who aren't from around here. We are located near the Mandaveli Market, which is one of the busiest spots in the neighborhood. You can always smell the fresh vegetables and flowers when you walk toward the market area. Adanjan Street is a bit narrow, so if two cars come from opposite directions, things get interesting. The 600028 area has a lot of history and old houses. Our place is just a simple setup where we do our work. It’s not fancy or anything. We have some neighbors who have lived here for decades. The sound of the temple bells and the market vendors is just part of the background noise for us. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to park a bike, let alone a car, but that’s just Mandaveli for you. We don't have a big corporate office; it’s more like a local house that’s been turned into a workspace. People usually find us by asking for the market and then looking for the street. It’s a very grounded place to be. We just open up in the morning, do what needs to be done, and head home like everyone else in the street. It is a real community vibe here.
