Srisasthaorganic Center

We are tucked away at No:40A/26 on Agasthiyar Street in East Tambaram. Srisasthaorganic Center isn't a very big shop, but we pack a lot into the small space we have. The street is one of those narrow ones where you have to be careful when a car comes through. We mostly deal with local suppliers who bring in things every few days. Often, you will see bags of grains or bottles of oil sitting on the floor while we find a spot for them on the wooden shelves. It is not the kind of place with shiny floors or air conditioning. We just have a couple of old ceiling fans that hum all day long. In East Tambaram, people really care about what they are eating lately, so we get a lot of questions from folks. We aren't experts, we just know what the labels say and what the farmers tell us when they drop things off. The wooden counter has been scratched up over the years, and the chalk board out front needs a new coat of paint pretty soon. We open up early because the morning air is better for the stock. Sometimes the delivery guys arrive before we’ve even had our first coffee. It is a bit of a squeeze when more than four customers are inside at once. We just do our best to help people find their pulses or honey and then get back to the stocking work.
