Sri Sastha Rice Traders

We are based at 121 Vijaya Complex, right on the Mth Road in Ambattur. Sri Sastha Rice Traders has been operating from this building for quite some time now. Rice is heavy work, and our days are filled with moving bags around and making sure they stay dry. The complex is a busy place, and Mth Road always has trucks and cars zooming by. It gets a bit dusty inside with all the grain, but we sweep up as much as we can every evening. We do not have a big fancy office, just a desk and a lot of bags stacked up high. Sometimes the smell of the different varieties of rice is really strong when you walk in. People from around Ambattur come to us because they know we have been here at this address for years. We are not trying to be the biggest, just trying to keep the bags moving. Some days the humidity makes everything feel heavy, and we just sit by the fan for a bit. We know the local shopkeepers and the families who live nearby. They stop in, ask about the stock, and we help them out. It is a simple business, really.
