Sri Laxmi Enterprises

Our place is on Govindapppa Naciken Street in the Parrys area. It’s a bit funny with the address because it’s Old No 91 but also New No 191, which sometimes confuses the delivery drivers who come by. Sri Laxmi Enterprises has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. Parrys is always a mess of people and vehicles, so it’s never really quiet around here. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the day, mostly just general trading and keeping track of our stock. The building is older, like most things in this part of town, and it has that specific smell of old paper and stone. We don't have any fancy displays or anything. It’s mostly just boxes and ledgers and us trying to stay organized in the middle of all the bustle. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon makes the street feel even more crowded than it is. We just keep the fan going and stay busy with the paperwork and the customers. It’s a very local way of doing business, where everyone knows the neighbors and the tea guy who comes around twice a day. We don't try to be anything we’re not. We just open up in the morning, do our work on Govindapppa Naciken Street, and head home when the sun goes down. It's just a simple life here in the city.
