Sri Devi Cranes

We’ve been operating Sri Devi Cranes out of Choolaimedu High Road for quite a while now. Our address is No. 64/2, right in the middle of everything. Choolaimedu is a very tight area, so moving big cranes around the corners can be a real challenge some days. You have to know the shortcuts and which streets are too narrow for the outriggers. We mostly do lifting for local construction projects or when a vehicle gets stuck somewhere it shouldn't be. It’s a lot of early mornings and late nights when the traffic is a bit thinner. The phone doesn't really stop ringing once people know you have the heavy equipment ready. We keep the cranes parked where we can, and we’re always checking the cables and the engines to make sure they are safe. It’s not the kind of job where you can afford to be lazy or skip a check. My uncle started this business with just one old crane, and we’ve just kept it going ever since he retired. We don't have a big marketing team or a polished office. It’s just a desk, some grease-stained logbooks, and the smell of diesel. People in the neighborhood know us by sight. They see the yellow paint and the logo and they know who to call for a lift. We just try to be helpful to the builders around here. If a job is too big for us, we say so, but usually, we find a way to make it work.
