Sri Bhaskar Pulses

We are located at No 4, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar Main Road in Erukkancheri. It’s a busy street, so there is always a lot of noise from the buses and bikes going past. We deal in pulses. It’s a basic business that’s been in the family for a few years. The shop is small, but we pack it full of sacks. Sometimes you have to squeeze past the bags to get to the counter. We don't have a flashy sign or a polished interior. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re too busy for that right now. Most of our customers are from the immediate neighborhood. They come in for their lentils and we weigh them out on the old scale. It’s honest work. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy philosophy. We just wake up, open the shutters, and start the day. Sometimes the delivery truck is late and we have to wait around drinking coffee, but that's just part of the routine. We know the shopkeepers nearby and we all help each other out. It’s a tight-knit community here in Erukkancheri. We’re just glad to be a small part of it. We don't do anything complicated. We just sell good pulses at a fair price and talk to our neighbors. That is enough to keep us going year after year.
