Sri Ambal Store

Sri Ambal Store is located at 11/9, Kandigai, which is part of the Medavakkam area. It is a pretty typical local shop. We have been here for a while, and the neighborhood has changed a lot around us. There are more houses and cars now than there used to be. Most of our day is spent behind the counter or restocking the shelves when things get low. Just a notebook and a calculator usually does the trick for us. The heat in Medavakkam can be tough in the summer months, so we keep the ceiling fans running at full speed all day. Sometimes the power goes out, and then we just have to wait it out. It is a basic life, running a store like this. We are just here to provide what people in the area need.
