If you know Broadway, you know exactly how it is. We are at number 162. It’s one of those parts of town that never really seems to go to sleep. There are people everywhere, all the time, and the noise of the traffic is just part of the background. Our shop is right in the thick of it. We’ve been here long enough that we don’t even notice the chaos outside anymore. The space inside is packed with whatever we’re trading at the time. It’s a bit of a maze if you don’t know where things are kept. We don’t have a website that we update or a marketing person to talk for us. It’s just us behind the counter. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go on this street over the years, but we’ve managed to stick around. It’s mostly about showing up every day and being there when people need something. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets a bit much, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a fancy showroom or shiny lights. This is a working man's area, and we fit right in. We deal with regular people and other traders from all over the city. It’s busy, it’s loud, and it’s a bit dusty, but it’s our spot. We just take the orders, count the stock, and keep moving forward.
