Sowcarpet is a crowded place and Narayana Mudali Street is right in the middle of all that chaos. We are located at number 95. If you come by you will see Arihant Tours And Travels is a small spot but we stay busy. People are always coming in to ask about bus timings or train tickets to various places. It gets really loud outside with the vendors and the two-wheelers squeezing past each other. Inside we have a couple of desks and some old calendars on the wall. We spend most of the day looking at screens and talking to people about their travel plans. Some people want to go on a pilgrimage and others just need to get to the next town for a wedding. We handle it all without much fuss. The street is so narrow that sometimes deliveries get stuck right outside our door. It makes the day interesting though. We have been sitting in this same spot for quite some time now. You learn a lot about people when they are trying to book a trip last minute. We don't have fancy brochures everywhere but we know the routes. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit. They usually don't mind too much since they can watch the street life while they sit. It is just a regular travel shop doing what we can for the local folks every day.
