We are located at No. 21, which used to be Old No. 11, on Errabaluchetty Street. If you know this part of the city, you know how tight the lanes are and how much is always happening. This street is famous for hardware and trade, and we’ve been a part of it for a long time. The shop is filled with everything from nuts and bolts to bigger hardware items. It’s a bit dusty, and things are stacked high because space is hard to come by in this area. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It is just a traditional place where people come when they need hardware for their construction or repair jobs. Usually, there are a few of us behind the counter, looking through ledgers or helping a customer find a specific size of something. The noise from the street is always there in the background—horns honking and people shouting. We don't mind it much. We’ve grown used to the pace of Errabaluchetty Street. Some days are incredibly busy with people coming in and out, and other days we spend more time just organizing the shelves and counting the stock. It is a simple setup, really. We provide hardware to those who need it and try to keep things moving as best as we can. There isn't any big secret to it, just staying open and having the right items on the shelf when someone walks in.
