Soltech Equipments

Our little shop, Soltech Equipments, is located at 27/12 on Cresent Park Street. If you know T. Nagar, you know it's a hectic area, but our street is actually a bit quieter than the main roads nearby. We’ve been here for a good number of years now. It’s a small space where we keep all the equipment we deal with. Sometimes the boxes get stacked a bit high, making it hard to walk around, but we know where everything is. We handle different types of tools and machinery mostly for local people and small contractors who know we’re here. My cousin used to help out, but now it’s just me and a couple of other guys. We open up early most days because that’s when the deliveries usually arrive. The building itself is older, and the paint is peeling a bit in the back, but it serves us well enough. We don't have a big sign or anything, just the address on the door. It’s a simple way to run things, and we like it that way. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who walk in looking for a specific part. Sometimes we have it, sometimes we don't, but we try to be honest about it. It’s a typical T. Nagar life, busy and a bit messy, but it’s home for us.
