We are based in T. Nagar on Ramanujam Street. Our address is a little confusing because it has a New No: 5 and an Old No: 3/1, so we always have to tell people to check both just in case. T. Nagar is one of those places that is always crowded, no matter what time of day it is. There is a lot of noise from the street markets and the traffic, but we like being in the middle of all that energy. Our work involves solar lights and various infrastructure projects, so we are often dealing with city planners or local neighborhood groups. The office is a bit old-fashioned and we haven't bothered much with modern decorations. We have filing cabinets that have been here since we started and a big table where we spread out our maps. We don't use a lot of fancy jargon when we talk to people. We just explain how the lights are going to be set up and what kind of maintenance they might need. Sometimes the narrow streets make it hard to get our trucks in and out, so we have to do a lot of heavy lifting by hand. We’ve been a part of this community for a long time and we know the local shops and the people who run them. It is a straightforward business where we just try to provide reliable equipment that stays working through the monsoon and the heat.
