Working out of the Tass Industrial Estate in Ambattur is definitely different from being in the city. Skyline Minerals And Chemicals is located at number 153. It’s an industrial area, so it’s always loud with trucks and machinery going all day long. We have been here for a good amount of time, handling both minerals and various chemicals. The space is mostly storage and a small area for the staff to sit. We don't really do much besides the work itself. Most of our neighbors are also in manufacturing or processing, so we all kind of know each other by sight. The roads can get a bit rough with all the heavy vehicles moving in and out, but that’s just Ambattur for you. We keep things pretty simple. There isn't any fancy decor in the office, just the stuff we need to stay organized. Usually, we start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. By the afternoon, the heat in the warehouse can be a lot, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early. If you come by, you'll probably see us checking lists or loading up a delivery. It's a straightforward business. We don't spend time on big speeches or presentations. We just make sure the orders are right and the chemicals are stored properly. It's just a regular day at the estate for us and we like the routine.
