Sivaji Hi-Tek Foods Private Limited is over here on Medavakkam Main Road. We’ve been at No. 100 in Keelkattalai for a while now. The building isn’t much to look at from the outside but we keep things moving inside. It gets pretty loud during the day with all the traffic passing by toward the junction. People stop in mostly because we’re right on the way home for them. It’s mostly just us trying to stay on top of the orders and making sure the supplies don’t run low. The floors are concrete and we spend a lot of time just moving sacks around. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon which slows things down, but we just wait it out. It’s a busy spot in Keelkattalai. You see the same faces every week, mostly folks from the nearby houses. We don’t do much advertising or anything like that. Most people just know where we are by now. The office is small and usually has a few piles of paperwork that need sorting. We try to keep the place tidy but with food products, there is always a bit of dust. It is what it is. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. By evening, the main road is packed with cars, so we usually try to wrap up before the traffic gets really bad. It’s just a regular place doing regular work every day and we’ve gotten used to the noise.
