If you know Parrys, you know how crowded Venkata Maistry Street can get. Sincere Supply Corporation is at No 36, and some days it feels like we are right in the middle of a beehive. There are people everywhere and handcarts moving up and down the street constantly. Our shop is old and the walls have seen a lot of years. We don’t have any modern decor or fancy lighting. It’s just shelves upon shelves of supplies that we’ve gathered over time. We spend most of our time climbing ladders to reach things for customers. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when the weather is hot and humid. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know where every single nut and bolt is hidden. Sometimes we get frustrated with the traffic outside because it makes deliveries slow, but we’ve learned to be patient. We aren't interested in sounding corporate or polished. We just talk to people like they are our neighbors, because usually they are. We’ve had the same phone number for decades and the same way of doing things. We just open the shop, help whoever walks in, and close up when the sun goes down. It’s a long day, but we are used to the rhythm of Parrys. It's a tough but honest way to earn a living in this city.
