Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited

Our office is Siemens Gamesa Renewable Power Private Limited, located at No.334 on the 8th floor of Block B in The Futura Tech Park. That’s over in Sholinganallur. Even though it's in a tech park, we try to keep things pretty down-to-earth. The 8th floor gives us a decent view of the area, but we are usually too busy looking at blueprints and spreadsheets to notice. It’s a lot of work dealing with renewable power systems. We have a lot of engineers and office staff coming in and out all day. The elevator is sometimes slow, so we get to know the other people in the building while we wait for it. We do a lot of coordination from this office. It's where we plan out the maintenance and the new setups for various sites. We don't use a lot of big words or try to sound more important than we are. We just have a job to do, and we do it. The canteen downstairs is where most of us grab lunch together. It's a regular office environment, nothing too crazy or modern. We have some plants that we try to keep alive, though we forget to water them sometimes. Sholinganallur is a growing area, so there’s always construction noise around us. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot since we moved in. We focus on the practical side of power, making sure things stay online. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy.
