SHS Family Hospitality is located in the Indira Arcade at RK Salai. We are on the second floor in Suite 5. Mylapore is an old part of Chennai with a lot of history and temples, and we like being based here. We are not a giant chain with thousands of locations. We are just a family-run kind of setup dealing with hospitality and management. Most of our work happens right here in this office, looking over accounts and talking to the people who work at our properties. It can get a bit loud in the office when everyone is talking at once on the phones. We do not use those corporate buzzwords you hear in big cities. We just talk about things like laundry costs and fixing leaky pipes or broken tiles. The RK Salai road is always jammed with cars, so getting to work on time takes a while. We have been at this address, New No. 4/5, for some time now. We handle the behind-the-scenes stuff that keeps the guests happy elsewhere. It is not always glamorous work. There is a lot of mundane tasks like filing permits and checking receipts. We drink a lot of coffee and try to stay on top of everything that needs doing. We are not trying to impress anyone with big speeches. We just want to keep the business running smoothly for our families and our employees. It is a decent place to work. (255 words)
