Down in Rangarajapuram, you’ll find us at Shriram Coconut Products Ltd. We are tucked into Gothi House at number 17 on 1st Street in Nagarjuna Nagar. It’s actually apartment F-3 if you’re looking for the specific door. We’ve been working with coconuts for a long time now. It’s a messy business sometimes, but someone has to do it. The street is usually pretty quiet, which we like. We don't have a massive warehouse with hundreds of people, just a dedicated group making sure the coconut products are handled right. Some mornings the smell of the stuff is quite strong, but you get used to it after a week. We mostly just deal with the daily logistics of getting products from one place to another. It’s steady work. My cousin used to work the desk, but now it’s mostly just a few of us. We keep our records in old folders and try to stay on top of things. It’s not like those big tech companies you see on the news. We have some fans that rattle a bit in the summer heat, and the tea guy comes by at eleven. It’s a basic operation. We don’t try to be anything we aren't. If you need coconut stuff, we are the ones in the building with the blue gate. We just keep our heads down and work. There is always a lot to sweep up at the end of the shift.
