Shree Hardwares

Our shop, Shree Hardwares, is located at New No 50 on 2nd Avenue in Ashok Nagar. We have been part of this neighborhood for quite a long time now. The shop is filled from floor to ceiling with all the typical hardware stuff like nails, paints, plumbing parts, and hammers. It is not a massive store, but we try to keep a bit of everything so local residents do not have to go too far for a simple repair. Most of our day is spent talking to neighbors who come in because a pipe is leaking or they need a specific size of screw for a home project. We know a lot of the faces around 2nd Avenue by name. It is a bit of a cluttered space, but we generally know where everything is hidden away on the shelves. We do not have any corporate rules or slick uniforms here. It is just a local hardware store where we help out as best as we can. Sometimes we have to spend a while digging through boxes to find an old part someone is looking for. Ashok Nagar is a lively place, and we like being right in the middle of it. We open up the shop in the morning, sweep the entrance, and just wait for the day to start. It is a simple way of living, and we just focus on keeping the shelves stocked with the basics that everyone needs for their homes.
