Shree Balaj Toursits & Travels

Our place is at No 87 on Mint Street in Sowcarpet. It is a very crowded street and you will find us near the Pandiyan Complex. If you have ever been to Sowcarpet you know how the traffic is and how many people are walking around at all times. We run our travel business from this small office and it is always busy with someone coming in to ask about bus timings or car rentals. The office is simple and we keep a lot of maps and schedules around. We spend a lot of time on the phone trying to coordinate with drivers and making sure everyone gets where they are supposed to go. Mint Street is famous for many things and we are glad to be right in the middle of it. Sometimes it is hard for people to find parking so we usually tell them to come by walk if they can. We have been doing this for a long time and we know the routes around Chennai quite well. Most of our work is just regular daily travel stuff for local people. We don't have any big signs or anything too flashy. It is just a practical space where we can sit and get the bookings done. The fans are always on because it gets quite stuffy in the afternoons. That is the daily life here at Shree Balaj Toursits & Travels. We keep a diary of all the bookings by hand just to be safe.
