Shivshakthi Travel is on Erulappan Street in Sowcarpet. We are at No 60, which is right next to the Elephant Gate Police Station. Being next to a police station makes it a very easy landmark for people to find. Sowcarpet is a very busy place, full of narrow lanes and hundreds of shops. Our office is just a simple room where we do all our travel business. We aren't a big company with many branches, just this one spot in Chennai 600001. We help people book their journeys, whether they are going nearby or far away. The street outside is usually full of rickshaws and delivery carts, so it stays quite loud all day long. We don't have any polished sales pitches. We just sit at our desks and help whoever comes in. Sometimes we have to wait for the internet to work or the power to stay steady, but we get the jobs done eventually. Most of our work is just handling the tickets and making sure people have what they need for their travels. We've been in this spot for a good while, so most of the neighbors know us. It is a very down-to-earth kind of place. We don't pretend to be anything we are not. We just provide a simple service for the people who live and work in the Sowcarpet area and need a bit of help with their travel plans.
