Shanthi Enterprises

Shanthi Enterprises is located in Mylapore, which is one of the oldest parts of the city. We are on Chitrakulam North Street, at New No. 17-A. If you know the area, you know it’s right near the tank, and it gets very busy during festival times. Our office is a modest space, nothing fancy at all. We have our desks, some old filing cabinets, and a small area where we keep our samples. Most of our day is spent on the phone or dealing with walk-in visitors who have been coming to us for years. It’s a friendly neighborhood, and we often chat with the people in the shops next door. We don't have a big corporate structure; it’s just a few of us making sure the business runs smoothly. The building is older, and sometimes we have to deal with leaky pipes or patchy internet, but that’s just part of being in an old neighborhood like Mylapore. We don’t make big promises or use marketing talk. We just focus on getting the orders right and being honest with our customers. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We like the pace here, even when it’s a bit slow or when the streets are blocked for a temple procession. It’s just the way things are at 17-A, and we’re happy to keep it that way. We just keep going, year after year, in our own small way.
