Sgovindan

This spot at No, 2/18 Third Street First Cross in EB Colony is where I spend most of my time. Chennai is always busy, but this little pocket of 600088 stays relatively manageable compared to the main city. Sgovindan is the name we use for everything official. It’s a simple setup. The street isn't very wide at all, so parking can be a bit of a mess if more than two cars show up at the same time. Most people just walk over from the nearby houses. The air is always a bit salty being in Chennai, and the humidity makes everything feel a bit slower in the middle of the day. I’ve lived and worked in this area long enough to know the names of the people living nearby. It’s just a regular building, nothing that stands out from the neighbors. We do our work, talk to the people who come by, and try to keep things organized. Sometimes the power goes out for an hour or two, but that's just part of living in an EB Colony, which is a bit funny if you think about it. We have a few files, a couple of computers, and not much else in the way of furniture. It isn't a fancy corporate place with glass walls. It’s just where we are. We don’t really do much in the way of advertising because everyone around here already knows where to find us. It's just a normal life, honestly. We take things as they come and don't overcomplicate the day.
