Sevenseas Traders

You’ll find Sevenseas Traders over in Periyamedu, specifically at 37/5 D Block on the 1st floor. It’s an older building, and you have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to us. Periyamedu is a crowded area with a lot of trading going on, so it’s always loud with the sounds of the street below. Our office is filled with samples, ledgers, and boxes waiting to be sent out. We deal with various goods, and our days are mostly spent on the phone, talking to suppliers or arranging transport for our orders. It’s not a very quiet place to work, but we like being in the middle of all the action. The desk is usually covered in receipts and half-finished cups of tea. Sometimes the overhead fan squeaks, but we’ve stopped noticing it. We don’t have a big staff, so whoever is closest to the door usually answers it. We handle a lot of paperwork because of all the different items we trade, and keeping track of everything is a full-time job. We have been in this D Block spot for quite some time, and we know most of the other traders in the building. It’s just a regular trading house, doing our bit to keep things moving in the local market. It can be a bit of a scramble sometimes, but that is the nature of trading.
