Senthil Tools And Die Makers is located at No 11 on Pillaiyar Kovil 5th Street. We’re right here in Ekkaduthangal. It’s a workshop style setup, mostly. We have our machines and tools set up in the space to handle the die making work that comes our way. It’s not the quietest job, so the neighbors probably hear us working throughout the day. The street can be a bit narrow, so parking is sometimes a bit of a gamble if you’re coming by. We spend most of our time at the benches or working the machines. It’s hands-on work, so our hands are usually dirty by lunch. We’ve been at this address for a good while now. Most people who come to see us are looking for something specific to be made or fixed. We don’t have a flashy showroom or a front desk with a receptionist. It’s just us in the back getting the work finished. Sometimes we have a backlog, and other times it’s a bit slower, but there’s always something to clean or a tool that needs sharpening. We like being in Ekkaduthangal because it’s a practical place for a business like ours. You won’t find any fancy decorations here. Just tools, metal, and the work we do every day. It’s a simple way to make a living, and we’re okay with that. We just focus on the job at hand and try to stay out of trouble.
