We are K Pas Instronic Engineers India Pvt. Ltd., and we operate out of Ekkaduthangal in the Guindy area. It’s a very industrial part of the city, which is perfect for the kind of engineering work we do. There are lots of workshops and factories around us, so the whole neighborhood has a very busy, productive feel to it. Our place is full of various instruments and testing equipment. We spend a lot of time calibrating things and making sure the electronics are behaving correctly. It can be quite detailed work, and sometimes it gets a bit tedious, but that’s the nature of being an engineer. Guindy is always bustling with people and traffic, and Ekkaduthangal is no different. We’ve been here long enough that we know the local tea stalls and the other business owners on the block. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a functional space where we can get our work done without distractions. Sometimes the power flickers and we have to reset everything, which is a real pain. We aren't a big corporate entity; we are just a group of people who understand how these machines work. Most days are spent hunched over benches or looking at screens. It’s just what we do. We don't make a big deal about it, we just show up and handle the engineering day after day. It’s hard work but it keeps us busy and we like the routine.
