Seethalakshmi Store

We have been based on M T H Road in Ambattur for a good while now, right in the Varadharajapuram area. Seethalakshmi Store is just a simple place for the people who live nearby to get their bits and pieces. It’s not a massive shop, but we try to keep it stocked with the things people actually use every day. The 600053 area can get quite noisy with all the traffic out on the main road, but inside it’s usually just the sound of the fan and maybe a bit of talk. We open up early because that’s when the morning rush starts and people are heading to work. We don't really have a big team or fancy equipment, just a few of us making sure everything is where it should be. Sometimes the shelves get a bit messy during a busy spell, but we tidy up as soon as we can. It’s just the way it goes when you’re running a local shop in Chennai. We’ve come to know a lot of the neighbors over the years. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, just a reliable store on the corner. If you’re walking down M T H Road, you’ll see our sign. It’s a straightforward business, no complicated stuff. We just focus on keeping the doors open and the inventory ready for whoever walks in next. That’s our day, every day.
