Our office is down in Saidapet on D Vs Mudhali Street. It’s an old part of Chennai and the street can get pretty narrow. We’ve been operating out of number 34/70 for quite some time. It’s a technology business, mostly working on software and technical bits for other companies. It isn't always quiet here because the street is always moving. We have a small group of people working here every day. We drink a lot of tea while we sit at the computers. The building itself is nothing special to look at but it works for what we need. We’ve had the same neighbors for years. Sometimes it’s hot in the afternoons but the fans keep us going. We handle different projects as they come in. There isn't a big flashy sign out front. You just have to know which door to knock on. We started small and stayed that way. Most of the staff live nearby, so they just walk or take the bus. We don’t do big meetings with fancy catering. Usually, we just talk over our desks. It’s a practical way to work without too much fuss. Dealing with tech in a place like this keeps us busy. We just keep our heads down and finish the tasks. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Chennai. It’s a simple setup and we like it that way. No need for anything more complicated. The commute is easy and the tea is good.
