Saifee Stores

Saifee Stores is at 84, Coral Merchant Street in Mannady. It is an old part of the city and the streets are very narrow. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. We sell a variety of things, and the shelves are usually packed from floor to ceiling. Sometimes it’s hard to find what you’re looking for, but we know where everything is kept. It’s a bit dark inside because the buildings are so close together, but we have some lights to help out. People from the neighborhood come by every day for their small bits and pieces. We have a counter right at the front where we sit and wait for customers. Mannady is always full of life, with people shouting and bikes squeezing through the gaps. It’s a noisy place to work, but it’s never boring. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the name over the door. The floor is old stone and it’s worn down in the middle from all the walking. We spend our time dusting the jars and rearranging the stock when new things arrive. It’s just me and a couple of helpers most of the time. We aren't trying to be a big supermarket. We are just a local store in a busy street, helping the people who live around here get what they need. It is just a regular life in a busy market.
