Sai Foods

Sai Foods is a small operation located at 499, Gold Maistry Street. This is an old part of the city and the streets are quite narrow, so it can be a bit of a squeeze if you are bringing a vehicle through. We have been at this address for a long time. The building is old but it works for what we need. Inside, we are mostly busy preparing food items and packing them up for the local market. It is a very hands-on job. You won't find anyone sitting around in fancy chairs here. We are usually on our feet, dealing with the ovens or the packing table. The smell of cooking often drifts out into the street. Our neighbors are mostly other small shops and families who have lived here for generations. We don't do any big advertising. People just know we are here because they see us working every day. The street can get very crowded with people walking and carts moving, especially in the mornings. We just try to do our work honestly and keep the place as clean as possible. It is a lot of hard work and the hours can be long, but that is the nature of the food business. We have a few steady workers who help out with everything from cleaning to deliveries. It is just a normal, everyday business trying to get things done.
