Sai Export

Being in Chennai means you’re always dealing with the humidity. Sai Export is just our small way of keeping busy in this big city. We don't have a massive warehouse with shiny floors. It’s mostly just us handling things as they come in and go out. The traffic in Chennai can be a real headache, especially when we’re trying to move stuff on time. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking lists. It gets loud outside with the horns honking all day. Some days are slow and we just tidy up the place. Other days, everyone is rushing around like crazy. We don't really do the corporate thing with ties and meetings. We just wear what's comfortable for the heat. Sometimes we get lunch from the small shop around the corner. They make good sambar. Exporting sounds like a big deal, but for us, it’s just making sure the boxes are packed right and the papers are signed. We’ve seen the city change a lot over the years. Buildings going up everywhere. But we’re still here, doing our bit. It’s hard work, and your back might ache by evening, but it’s what we know. We don't make promises we can't keep. We just do the work that's in front of us and hope for the best tomorrow. We have a few old fans that rattle a bit, but they keep us cool enough when the sun is high.
