Our office is tucked away in the Nakoda Complex on Strotten Muthia Mudali Street. It’s an old building, but it’s right in the middle of everything in Parrys. If you know Chennai, you know how hectic Parrys can get with all the carts and people. We spend our days looking at maps and holiday packages for people who want to get out of the city for a bit. It’s funny because we stay right here in the noise while planning trips to quiet places. The office has the old number 24 and new number 49 on it, which sometimes confuses people, but they find us eventually. We have stacks of brochures and notebooks all over the place. It's not the most modern setup, but it’s comfortable for us and the regulars who come in. We talk to a lot of families who are saving up for a summer break or a pilgrimage. We just sit here, answer the phone, and try to find the best dates that work for everyone. It’s a lot of typing and double-checking names and dates. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to wait it out. It’s a simple life running a travel business in this part of town. We don’t do anything fancy, just help people get from one place to another without too much trouble. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch until late because the phone keeps ringing so much.
