S M Traders Parrys

S M Traders is located at the old number 15, which is now new number 68, on Devaraj Mudali Street in Park Town. If you know the Parrys area, you know it is one of the most crowded and hectic parts of the city. There are people and carts everywhere, and the noise never really stops. Our shop is right in the middle of all that. We deal with various trading items and spend most of our hours loading and unloading goods. The space inside is mostly taken up by boxes and stock, leaving just a narrow path for us to move around. It's not a place for browsing; it's a place where business happens quickly. We have been here long enough to know all the other traders on the street. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets to be a lot because the street is so narrow and doesn't get much of a breeze. We have a small desk where we keep the ledgers and handle the cash. The walls are lined with samples of whatever we are selling that week. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs because everyone in the market knows where we are. It’s a bit messy and can be very loud, but that is just how Park Town is. We get here early to beat the worst of the traffic and we stay until the work is finished for the day.
