S A S Agencies

If you walk down Thambu Chetty Street in Parrys, you will see us at No 124. It is one of those old streets in Chennai where everything is crowded together. S A S Agencies is right in the middle of it. The building is old and the stairs are narrow. We have been in this spot for a long time. Parrys is a place where you can find anything if you look hard enough. Our office is simple. We have some desks, some chairs, and a lot of ledgers. We don't use much fancy technology, just what we need to get the orders right. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit when it is on high speed. You can hear the sounds of the street vendors outside all day. Sometimes the smell of the sea comes in when the wind is right, but mostly it is just the smell of the city. We have a lot of regulars who have been coming to No 124 for years. They know us and we know them. It is more about the people than the place. We keep our doors open so people can just walk in. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we have a small cooler that makes a lot of noise. It is just a basic agency doing business on a busy street. We like it here though, even with all the noise.
