Ruchi Food Products

We are located at 50, Giriappa Road, right in the heart of T. Nagar. If you know this part of Chennai, you know it’s always moving. Ruchi Food Products has been in this same spot for quite a while. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a regular two-story structure where the bottom floor is for production and the top is for storage. We make a lot of traditional snacks. The smell of hot oil and spices is always in the air. We don't have an automated assembly line. Most of it is done by hand, from mixing the dough to packing the final bags. It’s a busy place, especially around festival times when everyone wants something to take home. We have a few ladies from the neighborhood who come in to help with the packing. It’s a lot of chatter and hard work. We don’t use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make food that tastes like it should. The street outside is always blocked with scooters and delivery vans, which can be a bit of a headache. We don’t have a big sign, just our name painted on the door. It’s a bit worn out now. We are just a local business doing what we know how to do. We don't plan on moving or changing things much. It works for us as it is. That's about the long and short of it.
