Right Rice Traders

Our shop, Right Rice Traders, sits at 45/78 on Vajravelu Chetty Street in R S Kuppam. It is not a very big place, just a simple storefront where we keep different varieties of rice in big open bags. You can smell the grain as soon as you walk in from the street. The floor is made of old concrete and it gets quite dusty because of all the movement. Usually, the morning starts with us moving the heavy sacks around to make space for people to walk. We don't have fancy displays or bright lights, just the usual shelves and a weighing scale that has seen better days. R S Kuppam is a busy area, so there is always noise from the scooters and the people passing by. Sometimes we just sit on the wooden bench outside when things are quiet. We get a lot of regulars who live just a few streets away. They come in and ask for what they need, and we bag it up for them right there. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to work by the light coming in from the door. It gets hot in the summer, but we have a small fan that helps a bit. We keep things pretty basic here. There is no big marketing plan, just the daily routine of checking the stock and talking to the people who buy from us. It is just a local business on a normal street.
