Rice One Food Corp

Our place, Rice One Food Corp, is tucked away at No 95 on 3rd Street, just off Samayapuram Main Road in Porur. It is a busy little corner of the city. We have been operating here for a while and we have seen Porur grow up around us. The building is a bit old and the street can get quite cramped when delivery vans try to turn around. Inside, we are mostly focused on processing and packing. It isn't a high-tech corporate office with glass walls; it is more of a practical workspace where we get our hands dirty. We spend a lot of time checking the bags and making sure the supply is moving out to the shops on time. Sometimes the traffic on Samayapuram Main Road gets so bad that our workers arrive late, but we just adjust and keep going. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just want to make sure the food we handle is decent and reaches people without any trouble. Most of our neighbors are other small businesses and we all kind of look out for each other. If you walk past No 95, you will probably see us loading a small truck or moving pallets around. It is basic work, but it keeps us busy and we like being part of the Porur community.
