Residency Towers Hotel

Our hotel is at No 115 on Sir Thyagaraya Road, which most people know as the heart of T Nagar. We are right next to the Globus Showroom in Pondy Bazaar. If you’ve ever been to this part of Chennai, you know how crowded it gets with shoppers and cars. Being right in the middle of 600017 means there is never a dull moment. We have been here for years, watching the shops change around us. The building is a big one, and it takes a lot of effort to keep everything running. We have a lot of staff working in the different departments, from the lobby to the rooms upstairs. We spend our days handling check-ins and making sure the maintenance is up to date. It’s a lot of walking back and forth through the hallways. Pondy Bazaar is always loud, but we’ve gotten used to the sound of the market. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to guests, we just tell them what’s what. Sometimes the traffic on Sir Thyagaraya Road makes it hard for cars to pull in, but we do our best to help out at the gate. We aren't trying to be a five-star palace, just a solid place to stay in a very busy neighborhood. We keep the lights on and the rooms ready for whoever walks through the door next.
