Rejoice Super Market

Rejoice Super Market is located at 11, Saibaba Colony in the Perumbakkam area. Even though we use the name super market, it is really just a larger local store where we try to have a bit of everything for the house. We have been in Saibaba Colony for a few years now, and we have seen the neighborhood really grow with new buildings. We have several aisles for groceries, some plastic items, and a small cold section for milk and eggs. It is usually just me and two other helpers running the floor every day. We try to keep the floors swept and clean, but with people coming in from the street all day, it is a constant job. We don't have those fancy automatic sliding doors. It is just a regular glass entrance where you grab a plastic basket and look around. Sometimes the billing machine acts up when the power goes out, and we have to do things the old way, but our customers are usually very patient with us. Most of them are people who live in the apartments just down the road. We know what brands of tea or flour they like, so we try to keep those specifically on the shelves for them. Perumbakkam is a very busy place these days, and we are just happy to be a part of the local scene. We aren't a big corporate chain, just a local business trying to make things easier for neighbors.
