The address is a bit confusing for some because it has a New Number 101 and an Old Number 24/2. People around here still use both, so we usually tell them to look for the street near the temple. Tondaipet is a crowded area with lots of narrow lanes and people always moving about. Our building is right in the thick of it. It’s a local spot where everyone pretty much knows each other’s business. We have been operating here for a while now. The street gets very busy with vendors and morning traffic. Inside the office, it’s mostly just the sound of ceiling fans and people talking. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s a practical space for a food business like ours. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the stocks. The old building has a lot of character, even if the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint soon. It feels like home to us. We’ve grown used to the sounds of the Kovil Street life and the people around here. There’s a certain rhythm to the day in Tondaipet that you don’t get in the newer parts of the city. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done. It’s honest work for us.
