Ravikumar

Ravikumar is based here at No 56/115 on M.K. Amman Kovil Street. This is right in the heart of Mylapore, Chennai. If you know Chennai, you know Mylapore is full of old temples and narrow streets. Our building is on a street named after the temple nearby. It’s a very traditional neighborhood. There is always the smell of jasmine and incense in the air from the flower sellers down the road. The house number is 56/115, and it’s a place that has seen a lot of years. We don't have air conditioning in every room, so we rely on the ceiling fans and the sea breeze when it actually reaches this far inland. The floors are made of old stone, which stays relatively cool even when the Chennai heat is at its worst in May. We are not a corporate office with glass walls. We are just a small setup in a residential street where neighbors chat across balconies. Sometimes the bells from the temple are quite loud in the mornings and evenings, but we have grown used to it. It’s a part of our daily rhythm now. We keep things very simple here. There is a small desk where we handle our paperwork and a couple of chairs for guests. We don't try to be anything we are not. We are just Ravikumar, working out of a small street in old Mylapore.
