Ramanis Impex

Ramanis Impex is located at 165, 1st Floor, Peters Road in Royapettah. This part of the city is always crowded and noisy, but we like the energy. Our office is just up the stairs, and we climb them every morning with our tea in hand. Mostly we handle import and export tasks for various clients. It gets loud outside with all the cars and people on Peters Road, but you get used to it after a week. We have a few simple desks and some old filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days. When customers come by, they usually get a little lost looking for the entrance, so we have to keep an eye out the window to wave them in. We spend a lot of time on the computers checking shipping schedules and talking to agents. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just have to sit and wait. It’s not like those big corporate offices in the modern parts of the city. We know the tea seller downstairs and the man who runs the print shop across the street quite well. Most of our day is spent making sure the documents are stamped and the fees are paid. It can be stressful when a shipment is running late, but that’s just the nature of this business. We don't have fancy signs or expensive furniture. It’s just a place to get the job done and go home.
