Raga Designers

Our office is located on Poonamallee High Road in Arumbakkam. We are directly opposite the Anna Arch, which is a big landmark in this part of Chennai. Being on such a major road means it is never quiet. There is a constant stream of buses and cars going past. We are Raga Designers, and we spend our days working on various design projects. The space we have isn't huge. It’s mostly filled with computers, stacks of paper, and different material samples. We don't have a receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, when you walk in, you’re right there in the middle of where we are working. It’s a bit messy sometimes, with drawings and notes scattered around. We prefer it that way. It feels like a real workspace. We don't have a specific way of talking about our vision or anything like that. We just look at what the customer wants and try to draw it up or design it. Sometimes the heat in Chennai gets to be a bit much, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We get our coffee from the small shop around the corner. It’s a simple existence, and we enjoy the process of making things. We just stay focused on the tasks we have for the week and try to get the designs finished on time.
